SKIN’s Multi Level Collagen (MLC) Lift

As the aging process begins, skin tissue thins and collagen and elastin fibers begin to break down. While many anti-aging methods focus on replacing lost collagen and elastin with synthetic substitutes, our Multi Level Collagen (MLC) Lift works to restore healthy collagen levels at multiple levels in the skin by combining a bio-stimulating filler and high intensity focused ultrasound ultrasound energy to work together to generate more collagen creation and lifting than what either treatment modality could achieve on its own. This synergy maximizes skin regeneration in multiple levels of the skin and delivers a noticeably more youthful, lifted skin appearance that develops over 3-6 months following combined treatment.

What is SKIN’s MLC Lift?

Our MLC Lift combines Radiesse biostimulating filler with Ultherapy ultrasound energy to stimulate your skin’s own collagen regeneration. These treatments work synergistically to improve both skin laxity and texture. Ultherapy works in the deeper layers of the skin to decrease skin sagging, lines and wrinkles, and smooth skin texture.  Radiesse is injected more superficially under the skin’s surface to instantly add volume to the treatment area and to create longer term natural collagen regeneration in superficial layers that develops as the Radiesse dissipates over time, resulting in an improvement in skin thickness and elasticity. Together, these treatments result in enhanced skin tightening, lifting, thickness and elasticity.

An additional benefit of combining Ultherapy and Radiesse is that it allows for customization to better tailor the treatment to the needs of the individual. For example, if a patient has more significant sagging or volume loss in certain areas of the face or body, the injector can use a higher dose of Radiesse in those specific areas. Similarly, ultrasound energy can be more concentrated in areas with a more advanced level of skin aging. As both Ultherapy and Radiesse are minimally invasive treatments, combining the two does not result in increased downtime after treatment—in fact, there is none!

Our MLC Lift is performed in two parts separated by 2-3 weeks.

Post Treatment

Following your treatment, you may experience some very mild redness, tenderness or swelling however typically there is no sign of treatment immediately post procedure. Full post-treatment protocols will be discussed with your SKIN expert.

The Results
