SKIN’s LED Therapy

SKIN’s LED therapy was originally developed by NASA to provide various therapeutic benefits. This low-level light therapy mimics the natural photosynthesis process of plants, stimulating cells to promote healing and regeneration. Our LED therapy delivers light energy at three specific wavelengths: blue (465 nm), red (640 nm), and near-infrared (880 nm). Each wavelength penetrates to a different depth, triggering a specific biological response.

Red and near-infrared Light

Red and near-infrared light are absorbed by a molecule inside your mitochondria known as cytochrome c oxidase. This absorption increases mitochondrial ATP production, your cells’ primary energy currency. This boost in cellular energy in turn accelerates repair processes, reduces inflammation, and supports the production of collagen and other structural proteins.

Blue Light

Rather than energizing your own cells, blue light targets acne causing bacteria. Acne causing bacteria produces light-sensitive compounds called porphyrins. When the blue light hits the porphyrins, it generates a toxic reaction inside the bacteria that destroys them.

Blue LED treatment is a safe and effective solution for treating acne without harsh chemicals or harmful UV rays. It eliminates acne-causing bacteria, reduces existing inflammation, pimples and redness, speeds up the healing of existing lesions, and prevents future breakouts. LED Acne therapy can be completed as a session on its own, or in combination with our Spa or Medical Facials. Anti-Aging

Red LED is perfect for non-surgical, painless total rejuvenation. Treatment boosts both collagen and elastin production, helping to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin texture, and increase firmness. LED Anti-Aging technology can be pursued on its own, or in combination with a multitude of our advanced anti-aging options. A treatment plan will be determined by a SKIN expert during your skin analysis and consultation.

Body Contouring

Red LED wavelengths target and activate fat cells, creating temporary pores in fat cell membranes, enabling lipids to be excreted through the body’s metabolic processes while reducing inflammation and promoting circulation. Our LED Body Contouring technology can reduce the circumference of hips, waist and thighs through this natural process.
