Injection Lipolysis

Injection Lipolysis is one of the most advanced proven techniques in non-surgical fat reduction. It can safely and quickly eliminate some of the most stubborn, fatty deposits on your body that are not susceptible to diet and exercise alone. Medications that have been safely used for many years in medicine are combined in a unique blend that encourages fat reduction

SKIN MediSpa’s Injection Lipolysis Treatment Program utilizes a proven and effective combination of medications to dissolve the fat in targeted areas of the face and body. A mild and gradual procedure, injection lipolysis can provide impressive results in as little as 2-4 treatments.

Treatment Benefits

    • Eliminate areas of stubborn fat
    • A more contoured, sculpted appearance
    • Minimal downtime

Injection Lipolysis vs Mesotherapy

Injection Lipolysis is not the same treatment as Mesotherapy. Mesotherapy consists of injections composed of a mixture of different pharmaceutical agents including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other medications that are injected into the hypodermis just underneath the skin. Injection Lipolysis treatments contain a consistent mixture of 4-5 pharmaceutical agents, administered through a series of micro-injections placed directly into the central layer of subcutaneous fat. Injection Lipolysis has proven to be safe and effective when peformed under the supervision of a licensed physician who is certified in the specialized Injection Lipolysis procedure.

Injection Lipolysis is an excellent option for both women and men who are not excessively overweight and have certain problem areas that are difficult to target.  Injection Lipolysis treatments also offer a solution to those who have areas of fatty deposits that bother them, but prefer not to undergo surgical liposuction.

Injection Lipolysis treatments do not require a special diet, exercise, or increased fluid intake. However, exercise and proper diet combined with these treatments have shown extended long-term results.

Injection Lipolysis treatments are not a substitute to diet and exercise, nor are they a fat loss solution for individuals who are excessively overweight.

Prior to Treatment

Prior to treatment you will be scheduled for a complimentary consultation with our medical director , who is certified in the specialized Injection Lipolysis procedure and has  as over 20 years of  experience in creating beautiful aesthetic outcomes .

Injection Lipolysis treatments have been referred to as “Lunchtime Lipo”, as the procedure often requires less than an hour. The pharmaceutical solution is injected into areas with unwanted fat deposits, which are then broken down and released from the body through sweat, urine or feces, over a period of 2 weeks.

SKIN’s Injection Lipolysis treatments are entirely non surgical, however there may be some swelling and bruising at the injection sites for several days after treatment. Most individuals note an increase in warmth in the treated area immediately following treatment and some discomfort during the 24 hours following the injection. Some may experience mild to moderate redness, along with a stinging or itching sensation. Although individuals can resume normal activities immediately following treatment, it is recommended that they avoid anything too strenuous for a few days.

The Results

Fat loss is usually visible two weeks following treatment. However, studies indicate three consecutive treatments are often required to ensure maximum results.  Additional treatments are carried out for areas with larger fatty deposits in order to achieve the desired outcome. The total number of treatments required will be based on individual characteristics including the severity of the condition, fat structure and personal goals.

While studies indicate that the fat loss achieved through Injection Lipolysis treatments typically does not return, new weight gain can build up new fat in the same areas. A balanced diet along with regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle is recommended to optimize and maintain SKIN’s Injection Lipolysis treatments.
